For complete details, please review the full studio policies below.

Studio Culture

Lift Pilates is a place where people work hard, break a sweat, and support one another. While our workouts are focused and demanding, we also laugh, share, and enjoy the process.

My goal is to support you in developing a strong, consistent Pilates practice. Mistakes are part of learning, progress takes time, and patience is essential. Pilates rewards those who commit to the process.

Membership Policies

Membership Fees

Membership fees are charged on the day your membership begins and are non-refundable. Memberships reserve your place within the Lift Pilates schedule and secure access to studio instruction, which is why fees cannot be refunded for unused sessions.

If you plan to be absent for an entire month, please notify me at least one week in advance to avoid charges for that billing cycle.

Yearly Membership Pauses

Yearly memberships may be paused once per calendar year for up to 30 days.

Consistent Participation Policy

Lift Pilates is designed for clients who are committed to maintaining a regular Pilates practice.

I am not able to accommodate clients who frequently stop and restart or who take extended breaks from the studio. Clients who take more than six weeks away from the studio each year may find that Lift Pilates is not the right fit for their needs.

Consistency is essential—not only for the success of the studio, but also for your personal progress. A steady practice leads to better results, fewer setbacks, and a stronger, more connected body.

Private Lesson Policies

Private lessons are charged in advance.

A 24-hour cancellation notice is required. Late cancellations or missed appointments are charged in full and may not be rescheduled.

Schedule & Pricing

Prices may increase at the start of each calendar year. As a small business owner, I reserve the right to adjust pricing to support sustainable operation of the studio.

Holidays

Membership fees are not reduced for months that contain legal holidays.

Instructor Absences

If I am unable to teach due to illness, you will be notified by email as soon as possible.

For planned professional training or travel, advance notice will be provided.

Sick Days

I reserve up to six (6) sick days per calendar year.

These sick days are built into the studio’s operating model to support the long-term sustainability of the business. Sessions missed due to instructor illness will not be rescheduled or refunded.

Thank you for your understanding and continued commitment to your practice.

Vacation Time

I reserve up to three (3) weeks of vacation per calendar year.

Advance notice will be provided by email.

Client Absences

Clients are encouraged to attend consistently.

Sessions missed due to illness, travel, family obligations, or emergencies are not refundable and cannot be rescheduled.

If you are mildly ill or unable to attend in person, you may request to attend your scheduled session virtually.

Missed Sessions & Cancellations

No Make-Ups for Missed Sessions

Memberships reserve your place within the studio schedule and hold that time exclusively for you. For this reason, missed sessions cannot be rescheduled, transferred, or refunded.

Virtual Option

If you are mildly ill or unable to attend in person, you may request a virtual session during your scheduled time.

Repeated Cancellations

Repeated cancellations may result in forfeiture of your reserved time slot in order to maintain fairness and continuity for all clients.

Right to Refuse Service

Lift Pilates reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who may not be a good fit for the studio environment or for whom the services offered may not be appropriate.

Commitment to You

By reserving your time in the studio, I am committed to providing thoughtful, personalized instruction to support your growth in Pilates.

Consistency is the key to meaningful progress, and these policies are designed to keep both you and the studio moving forward together.

Agreement to Terms

By purchasing a membership, private session, or class package at Lift Pilates, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by the Lift Pilates Terms & Conditions.

Authorization for Recurring Billing

By purchasing a membership, you authorize Lift Pilates to charge the credit card on file for recurring monthly membership fees according to the membership plan selected. Charges will continue automatically until the membership is cancelled in accordance with studio policies.

Policy Updates

Lift Pilates policies may occasionally be updated to support the continued operation of the studio. The most current version of these policies will always be available on the Lift Pilates website.
