Studio Culture

Lift Pilates is a place where people work hard, break a sweat, and support one another. While our workouts are focused and demanding, we also laugh, share, and enjoy the process.

My goal is to support you in developing a strong, consistent practice. Mistakes are part of learning, progress takes time, and patience is essential. Pilates rewards those who commit to the process.

Membership Policies

Membership Fees

Membership fees are charged on the day your membership begins and are non-refundable. Memberships reserve your specific place within the Lift Pilates schedule and secure access to studio instruction, which is why fees cannot be refunded for unused sessions.

If you plan to be absent for an entire month, please notify me at least one week in advance to avoid charges for that billing cycle.

Yearly Membership Pauses

Yearly memberships may be paused once per calendar year for up to 30 days.

Paid-in-Full Memberships: All upfront, paid-in-full membership payments are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. Yearly paid-in-full memberships follow standard studio policy and may be paused once per calendar year for up to 30 days.

Consistent Participation Policy

Lift Pilates is designed for clients who are committed to maintaining a regular practice. I am unable to accommodate clients who frequently stop and restart or take extended breaks. Clients who take more than six weeks away from the studio each year may find that Lift Pilates is not the right fit for their needs.

Consistency is essential—not only for studio operations, but for your personal progress, joint resilience, and overall results.

Private Lesson Policies

  • Private lessons are charged in advance.

  • A 24-hour cancellation notice is required. Late cancellations or missed appointments are charged in full and may not be rescheduled.

Schedule & Pricing

Prices may increase at the start of each calendar year. As a small business owner, I reserve the right to adjust pricing to support the sustainable operation of the studio. Membership fees are not reduced for months that contain legal holidays.

Instructor Absences

Sick Days

I reserve up to six (6) sick days per calendar year. These days are built into the studio operating model to support long-term business sustainability. Sessions missed due to instructor illness will not be rescheduled or refunded. If I am unable to teach due to illness, you will be notified by email as soon as possible.

Vacation Time

I reserve up to three (3) weeks of vacation per calendar year. Advance notice will be provided by email for planned travel or professional development.

Client Absences & Missed Sessions

No Make-Ups for Missed Sessions

Memberships reserve your place within the studio schedule and hold that time exclusively for you. For this reason, sessions missed due to personal illness, travel, family obligations, or emergencies cannot be rescheduled, transferred, or refunded.

Virtual Option

If you are mildly ill or unable to travel to the studio, you may request a virtual session during your regularly scheduled time.

Repeated Cancellations

Repeated cancellations may result in forfeiture of your reserved time slot in order to maintain fairness and continuity for all clients.

Studio Arrival Guidelines

Lift Pilates classes are offered during scheduled hours, and clients may arrive at any point during their session block.

However, if no clients are present in the studio, or if all clients have completed their workout early, the class block may conclude early. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time and no one is in session, the studio may be closed for that period.

Right to Refuse Service

Lift Pilates reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who may not be a good fit for the studio environment or for whom the services offered may not be appropriate.

Authorization & Agreement

Agreement to Terms

By purchasing a membership, you authorize Lift Pilates to charge the credit card on file for recurring monthly membership fees according to your selected plan. Charges continue automatically until cancelled in accordance with studio policies.

Policy Updates

Lift Pilates policies may occasionally be updated to support the continued operation of the studio. The most current version will always be accessible on the website.
